Just when we thought we had seen it all, Kim Kardashian shocked fans with another dramatic hair transformation! The 41-year-old Skims founder has gone for yet another hair-over, seemingly going for the chop and changing her long, straight, platinum blonde locks to a shorter and more voluminous, 60s-inspired ‘do. And we have to say that we think she looks better than ever! How does she do it?!
The Skkn by Kim founder debuted her new hair in Milan ahead of the Dolce and Gabbana Spring 2023 show during Milan Fashion Week, which also saw her unveil her collection with the Italian design duo. The mom-of-four made the most of the extra paparazzi attention, as she had quite a few outfit changes during her visit.
One wow-worthy ensemble consisted of a white, form-fitting mini dress from the Dolce and Gabbana Spring 2023 ready-to-wear collection (inspired by pieces from the Spring 92 and Fall 91 collections, FYI) which she teamed with all-white accessories including a white coat and white heels. A modern-day Marilyn Monroe!
The second (of many) jaw-dropping outfits was a skin-tight catsuit from the Dolce and Gabbana Spring 2023 RTW collection (also inspired by the brand’s Fall 91 collection) featuring a high neck and embellished, jewel-encrusted sleeves, which she finished off with sleek black Dolce and Gabbana pumps. Her softly curled, voluminous platinum blonde hair was the perfect juxtaposition!
We have to make the most of every single picture of Kim with her platinum blonde hair, because we don’t think it’ll be around forever. In fact, Kim herself hinted that, although she feels that blondes do indeed have “more fun,” the darker locks are most likely going to make a return in the fall.
“The platinum is really a summer thing,” Kim told Interview magazine earlier this month. “I am keeping it for a little bit. I feel like in the fall I’ll go dark, just because I don’t want to damage my hair. But, I do think blondes have more fun. I just feel different,” she added.
