Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has its sights set on Milan, Italy’s fashion capital, for its next luxury property that will debut in the heart of the city in 2025.
Followers of this luxury brand will know the Rosewood Milan will be its fourth property in Italy, following the recent announcements of Rosewood Rome and Rosewood Hotel Bauer in Venice. These join the luxury favorite, Tuscany’s Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco.
Guests of the Rosewood Milan will find themselves right on the edge of the city’s fashion district. Your clients will want to take an extra suitcase because they will be just steps from the famous Via Montenapoleone, where their credit cards are bound to get a good workout at the many luxury boutiques, antique shops and trendy cafés. The property will have 70 rooms and approximately 20 suites and will take over the Palazzo Branca and Palazzo della Banca Commerciale, built in the 19th century. As is characteristic of Rosewood properties, the new hotel will be a well-thought-out blend of contemporary design and historic architecture. The property will also house the Asaya wellness facility with three treatment rooms, an indoor pool and a fitness center.
“This development comes with great excitement as we continue our growth in Europe and Italy specifically,” said Sonia Cheng, chief executive officer at Rosewood Hotel Group, in a press statement. “Rosewood continues to expand to destinations where we know our ‘affluential explorer’ guests want to travel. With all its culture and vitality, Milan ticks all the boxes for a Rosewood urban location and it will round out our portfolio of global fashion capitals where Rosewood has a presence, including our iconic properties in New York, Paris and London.”
the Rosewood Hotels & Resorts brand is making its way across Europe with a bevy of hotels set to open in the next few years in iconic destinations such as Munich, Salzburg, Amsterdam, Rome, London and Venice.
